Well, I'll be going in for my mammogram on Wednesday. They say it's not a screening but a diagnostic. Not sure what the difference is? I've been so stressed that now I have stiff neck and shoulders. Argh!!!
Hey there. I think maybe a diagnostic is that they are trying to get a diagnosis from it, and not just a picture? I know I've have screenings, and then they will use that along with other things to diagnose it. I had a biopsy for my lump (surgery, only they called it a biopsy, and they took te whole thing out-it was about the size of a golf ball). So, I guess a diagnostic mammo is better than a biopsy! I'll pray for you Julie, wish I was there.
